Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Acute Patient Access Services
Representative.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-register scheduled patients by verifying insurance and
obtaining critical patient information
Provide financial counseling and collect patient liabilities prior
to service
Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is required
Experience in customer service or knowledge of patient financial
services and insurance processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Strong knowledge of common office software and typing skills
Possession of relevant fingerprint clearance card may be required
based on location
