Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Supervisor I -
Remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform senior-level management duties and assist the underwriting
team with escalated issues
Lead team meetings, provide performance feedback, and assist with
staff training
Identify operational gaps and propose efficient business solutions
to management
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
5+ years of experience underwriting medical risk in the individual
and/or small group health market
Working knowledge of employer-based Large Group Fully Insured
Master Health Plan benefits and design
Experience working within the PEO industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage quote reviews and escalations
