DescriptionLeidos Dynetics is seeking a talented Quality Inspector to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.Primary ResponsibilitiesInspect component and assembled parts.Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions.Preform Internal AS9100 audits.Write Non-conformance and start investigation to root cause.Basic QualificationsCandidate must possess a High School diploma/GED with3 years of relevant Quality Inspection experience.must have a knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers etc.Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.Experience in IPC and J standard specifications is prefered.Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.Candidate must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.Applicant must be able to work a full-time with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on work flow.Must be willing to travel to customer site to perform quality inspections.Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance.Original Posting Date:2024-09-23While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
