We are Cognizant *You must be legally authorized to work in United States without the need of employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future * Job Summary We are seeking an expert Data Modeler with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Developer Data Modeler and Availability Management within the Travel and Hospitality domain. This role involves crafting and optimizing data models to support our business objectives and improve data availability and reliability. Responsibilities

• Craft and develop data models that meet the business requirements and improve data availability.
• Oversee the implementation of data models to ensure they are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Provide technical expertise in SQL Developer Data Modeler to support data modeling activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and analyze data requirements.
• Ensure data models are aligned with the companies data governance and data management standards.
• Conduct data analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data models including data dictionaries and metadata.
• Implement best practices for data modeling and data management.
• Supervise and optimize data models to ensure they meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Provide training and support to team members on data modeling tools and techniques.
• Work closely with the Availability Management team to ensure data models support the availability and reliability of data.
• Participate in data architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data modeling and data management. Qualifications
  • Possess a strong background in SQL Developer Data Modeler with at least 10 years of experience.
  • Have experience in Availability Management within the Travel and Hospitality domain.
  • Demonstrate expertise in crafting and developing data models.
  • Show proficiency in data analysis and data quality management.
  • Exhibit strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Have experience with data governance and data management standards.
  • Be familiar with data architecture and data integration techniques.
  • Show a dedication to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have experience in providing training and support to team members. Certifications Required Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) SQL Developer Data Modeler Certification Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 10/31/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $100,000-$120,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
