A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - Object
Storage.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the technical roadmap for the next-gen object
storage platform
Design and implement core object storage subsystems and lead
architectural reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, AI-ready
storage infrastructure
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in distributed systems or storage
engineering, specifically in object storage
Expertise in C/C++, Rust, or Go with a strong understanding of
performance profiling and multi-threading
Solid understanding of storage constructs like erasure coding and
consistency protocols
Proven track record of designing scalable systems with high
availability and low latency
Experience mentoring engineers and leading complex codebases
