Job Summary:As a Certified Surgical Technologist at Eye Surgery Center of Nashville, you will play a vital role in the operating room, assisting the surgical team during procedures. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure a smooth and safe patient experience.Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse and according to surgery
• Assist with preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating theater
• Properly process instruments and trays
• Orient the patient and family to the patient care environment, surgery center and unit routines
• Provide appropriate interventions related to safety issuesRequirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Course within 6 months of hire, Certified Scrub Tech or LPN
  • Preferred two years' experience as OR tech
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively assist physician with operative procedure
