Job Description:

Radiation Therapist job summary. Perform radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists. Accurately document patient treatment, register patient films. Requirements: JCERT accredited Radiation Therapy program, ARRT licensure, BLS certification. Preferred experience: patient care, radiation physics, problem solving, technical proficiency. Physical demands: lifting up to 50 pounds, standing most of the time.

--- Regularly perform radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
--- Regularly perform treatment simulations as indicated by the radiation oncologist.
--- Accurately document the patient treatment process.
--- Accurately register patient films for physician review.

--- Graduate of a JCERT accredited Radiation Therapy program
--- Registered, or registry eligible, radiation therapist licensure granted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). (Successful completion of registry exam within 6 months of hire date.)
--- ARRT licensure must be up to date and in good standing.
--- BLS for Healthcare certified

--- Ability to communicate, distinguish sounds, and visualize.
--- Regular manual dexterity.
