  • We are looking for nurses that are compassionate and passionate about patient care for our Hematology/Oncology Medical unit at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital.

    • Job Requirements
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    • OCN certification is strongly encouraged
    • Traveler must have an up-to-date Oncology Certification, updated every 4 years. ONC preferred, will accept ONS.
    • Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer. If Negative titer, must have booster vaccine. Exemptions are NOT accepted for persons working in certain areas.
    • Required for all disciplines, Annual Fit Test
    • Documentation of vaccination series completion OR documentation of declination to vaccine (Hepatitis B).
    • Flu season starts Sept 4th, 2023 for all new travelers. Needs to be updated every year. Declinations and exemptions not accepted.
    • X-ray completed (Positive PPD- Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire).
    • Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually thereafter.
    • Required for all travelers to have a Driver's license/State ID.
    • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) within required timeframes.
    • The proof of two Varicella vaccines, or serological evidence of immunity, or verification of a history of varicella or herpes zoster (shingles) by a healthcare provider. Follow-up if titer results do not show proof of immunity.
    • Tdap - Valid 10 years from the administered date.
    • Clinical only; Required annually in specialty - Skills Checklists.
    • Education needs to be validated at the source level in accordance with applicable governing laws.

        • Additional Details
        • Physical license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
        • Nursys quick confirm verifications should be completed for all APRN, RN's and LPN/LVNs.
