CoreCivic is currently seeking a Director, Organizational Development located at our corporate office in Brentwood, TN. This position is expected to work in office three days per week. The Director, Organizational Development (OD) supports the assessment of organizational needs and the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate organizational health and solve business problems. Manages programs and processes to enhance the efficiencies and effectiveness of people, teams, leadership and culture through organizational design and organizational culture strategies. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of various engagement and retention initiatives across the enterprise.The incumbent should be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements.Responsibilities:

  • Leads the design, development and implementation of programs, policies and strategies tailored to meet Organizational Development (OD) needs and program goals.
  • Leads and guides the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Council and Business Resource Groups (BRG). Ensures each BRG develops and executes annual goals, strategies and action plans. Develops succession plans for DEI Advisory Council and BRG leadership teams.
  • Conducts diagnostic root cause analyses through consultative services at the enterprise, functional, divisional, and facility level regarding OD needs for intervention strategies and organizational transformation. Plans and leads short and long-term strategies for OD projects. Evaluates strategies and projects to measure the achievement of established goals.
  • Analyzes strategies and projects to measure the achievement of OD goals by using quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Designs effective change management strategies, frameworks and project plans to ensure successful implementation of change across the organization.
  • Integrates OD work with other core organizational and talent programs such as learning curriculum, talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, onboarding, career experiences, employee relations and other HR/talent work and priorities to establish one inclusive employee experience.Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Five years of Human Resources or Organizational Development, Change Management and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion experience is required.
  • Three years of experience leading change management projects and working closely with senior leadership teams is preferred.
  • Experience in CoreCivic's talent and leadership processes preferred.
  • Prosci, Hogan 360 and/or Six Sigma certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
