Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims and Billing Representative to
manage patient accounts and ensure timely resolution of claims.
Key Responsibilities
Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting
third-party payors and patients
Document account activities and maintain productivity and quality
standards
Identify and communicate issues related to account workflows and
payer behaviors
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in
business administration or accounting preferred
1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections
experience
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate various patient
accounting applications
Intermediate knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and
Medicaid collections
Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
